Summer Camp is just a few weeks away.
Held in beautiful NC mountains, this camp offers excellent riding opportunities few will ever experience. Each day is a new ride, and campers learn pro-level skills and tactics from coaches and pro racers. June 8-16 more info

Summer Day Camp in Lakeland
End of August
Campers will meet at a desiganeted trail head each day and spend the day riding and learing skills. Expect to spend 3+ hours out on the bike, with plenty of rest stops. There are options for more or less riding. Advanced skills, trials technique, race simulations, nutrition and some bike maintenance lessons included.

Fort Yargo, GA - US Cup (SERC & GSC)
April, 28.
A wet day, but the course held up under the light rain. The junior fields were the biggest of the year so far, and the competition was strong. In the Junior Expert Elliott and Adam got beat out by Columbiam Junior Champ Diego. They took 3rd and 4th.
Carter scoresa 2nd in Sport followed by Simon and Kyle.
US Cup Tsali, NC
After a distant start to the US Cup East in FL, round 2 saw all racers line up together. Beautiful weather greeted the racers on both Saturday's time trial and Sunday's XC races. [more]
Duathlon, Heritage Park, GA
17 year-old Elizabeth placed 3rd in the 29 &under solo race in the Dirty Spoks Duathlon. This event has competitors both running and racing mtb's over an outdoor course. [more]
Pro XCT, Fontana, CA March 30-31
Luke crosses the country to get some early season racing in and takes 3rd in the Ex Junior XC, then scorches the Super-D to take 2nd and finall 1st in the 29 and under Short Track race. An over-shot corner cost some time in Super-D but Luke got warmed up by the short track.

Winter Thaw wraps up

These events are our first steps into providing more great events for the cycling community.
We also raised awareness for the Yellow River Trails system's future. The plan for the trails is to fix them with a 4-foot wide machine-built trails system that is accessible for all users (whoever that may be).
Most hikers are seeking a more Appalachian Trail trail to hike on while cyclist prefer the same. We want to keep the trails as they are.

12 Hours of Santos
Saturday, Feb 16 CycleYouth descends on Santos Trails in FL to compete as multiple teams in the relay race. Riders are coming together from GA and FL to form teams. This is always a fun event for CycleYouth. Thanks to Leoy's Bikeworks for helping sponsor the kids!
Winter Thaw
All 3 events take place at Yellow River Park in Stone Mountain, GA - a suburb of Atlanta.Perfect weather and even more perfect course for the first two rounds of Winter Thaw Series. Racers were treated to some classic Southern singletrack.

UpYouth
Brent has been hard at work to give underprivileged kids the mtb experience. As this sport can be costly there are often talented cyclist that never get to shine. We have worked a deal with local promoters for assistance on entry fees and are collecting bikes and parts to help build race bikes for the kids.
Donations are tax deductible and for a great cause.

2013 Summer Camp
Returning to the Red Barn near DuPont Forest, NC this camp will be a few days longer. We will take a day off in the middle to go enjoy other activities the mountains offer. Both Expert and Sport/Beginner camps are combined into the same time-frame. No need to pick one as we can sort that out pretty quick.
With the two camps combined there are fewer spaces, so register soon as camp will fill up. [more]
