The 2005 BUMP was not without bumps, but CycleYouth prevails.
Above, Mike Cummings graces the podium after an easy win in the Senior Expert (1-24) class.  This is Mike's last prep race before heading off to nationals in Utah.

The start of the Pro men's race was a little hectic. Without warning the riders were called to the line and started all within 30 seconds.  About half the field missed the start due to the inactivity of the officials and the scorers just before the start.  Accustom to certain procedures before a race many were caught off guard - keeping cool in the shade.  Andy also was in the group left.  With a 2 minute handicap he still managed to power his way through the group to finish 4th.
The Lindner POWER HOUSE.
Left, Jansen on the podium.  Right, Everett just before his victory.
Their father also won the Vet Expert race.  It must run in the family.
Left, Ethan at age 14 is racing the Senior Sport category.  Today was business as usual with his 3rd place finish.
Ethan has stepped it up this year while working with coach Andy on a full training program.
